Dhyāna
ध्यान
/dhee-AH-nah/Philosophical
Meditation — the seventh limb of Patañjali's aṣṭāṅga yoga. Dhyāna is the unbroken flow of awareness toward a single point. When dhāraṇā (concentration) becomes effortless and sustained, it transitions into dhyāna. In the KALKI system, dhyāna is the state in which the pattern is observed without interference — the prerequisite for pattern dissolution.
