Pure consciousness — the unchanging witness that observes all experience without being altered by it. Śiva is not a deity in the anthropomorphic sense but the foundational awareness that makes all experience possible. In the KALKI system, Śiva is the witness — the part of you that watches the pattern without becoming the pattern.
