/NAH-dee/Foundational
The energetic channels through which prāṇa circulates in the subtle body. The Tantric model describes 72,000 nāḍīs, of which three are primary: Iḍā (lunar, cooling), Piṅgalā (solar, heating), and Suṣumṇā (central, transcendent). The health of the nāḍī system determines the clarity and bandwidth of consciousness.
