Candra Bhedana
चन्द्र भेदन
/CHAHN-drah bhay-DAH-nah/Prāṇāyāma
Lunar-piercing breath — inhalation through the left nostril, exhalation through the right. Activates the iḍā nāḍī and increases parasympathetic tone, coolness, and receptivity. Used when rajas or anxiety dominates. The complementary practice to sūrya bhedana.
